Nymphomania - Unashamed

Record: 2012 • Edition: 2012 • USC-WR-1212.0129
Ambient, Experimental

This is a real trip into mind. The fractal image of the inner self. A kaleidoscope of visions that have a meaning, but you should be sure, because taking the wrong path leads you nowhere. The labyrinth built by one's mind may look confusing, but it gives the hints - just listen. And never touch that green switch!

    1. Thank you for the review! The only thing to correct - USC is not netlabel, because we release music on CDs too.
Here is one more album by Nymphomania: http://uscu.unitedstudios.ru/2012/09/nymphomania-heres-to-us-interplanar.html

  2. Many netlabels do. :)
For me: full catalog online + free downloads + independence + CC licensing = netlabel.
From my point of view you're a netlabel releasing also CDs, not the other way around. :)
But I added info about CDs to my review.
    Take care,
    Winston

  3. Actually we began with regular releasing of CDs in 2010 and for 2 years we didn't have enough spread and had to make official web releases division. CDs still remain our key activity. Calling us a netlabel is an insult, because we're trying to avoid such a tag especially. We're not the same as bodiless netlabels. We'd like to be called "mail-order". Netlabel is entirely virtual and perceived with a negative shade. Yes, CC is also "the way poor spirit" in public eyes, not the serious businessman, but we believe that copyright model is vicious and hostile.

    1. Well, I don't know who perceives netlabels with a negative shade - maybe gangsters from RIAA? All normal people, who like independent music, believe in artistic freedom and free flow of ideas and believe that "copyright model is vicious and hostile" appreciate netlabels. And the question whether they are bodiless or not is not a part of a "netlabel" definition and does not say anything about quality of a particular (net)label.

The same goes with CC licensing mode - the only people who despise it are losers from the majors whose narrow minds are unable to adapt to the digital era and desperately try to defend their already lost fortress.

But, having said that, the last thing on my mind is to insult you, so if you find a "netlabel" label insulting, I will further change my review.

Still, I fundamentally disagree with your point of view. :)

Keep up the good work and take care,
      Winston
