Vortex Mechanic - Questions to Eternity

Record: 2016-2017 • Edition: 2018 • USC-WR-1705.0360
Space Ambient, Noise Ambient

Whole life consists of questions. We begin to ask them when we realize ourselves as a person, and continue until we dissolve into nothingness. On the path of life we are accompanied by a variety of doubts and fears – they hide deep inside, even if we do not notice it. Once alone in the face of Eternity, we encounter our own existential fears. Our mind has protective mechanisms that defend us. But even they can fall under the pressure of circumstances, breaking the worldview, leading to uncertainty, indifference and loss of faith in everything, giving rise to doubt in the meaningfulness of life without a higher destiny. Religion was once an effective answer to all questions. Faith in a just God who will never leave us alone, saved us from the pain of reason, giving the will to existence. However, reality poses more and more questions, on which religions are not able to give adequate answers. Humanity was exposed defenseless to the soulless eyes of Eternity. And it has to find what question to ask.

Rigel Centaurus -
Колония. Часть первая = The Colony. Part One

Record: 2015-2016 • Edition: 2016 • USC-WR-1802.0402
Space Ambient

“...Following the results of observations we came to a conclusion, that the parameters of the star allowed that it had an Earth-like planets. Who knows, maybe Delta Pavonis is destined to become a new sun for mankind. We made calculations, built a spaceship for long-range flight and prepared an expedition. Cosmonauts were cast into anabiosis to go through G-force easier and to reduce resource consuming. The onboard computer was obligated to control the spaceship’s course as well as crew’s state. In a distance of tens of billions kilometers retrorockets ignited. Meanwhile the star gradually grew in objective lenses of cameras. Onboard navigation system made calculations and built up the trajectory: the fourth planet orbiting in the habitable zone. While the spaceship was approaching, the machines collected data: atmospheric gases, temperature and ground-level pressure, humidity and weather conditions, radiation level, thickness of ozone layer and strength of magnetic field, as well as search for traces of life. Happily the planet turned out to be similar to Earth in many properties, and the next step was to determine a landing site and a place for building of the future colony. Robots deployed a planetary base and began comprehensive works to prepare for the moment when the human himself could take the first step into this brand-new world...”

Marcus Denight - Between Light of the Sun and Gray Moon

Record: 2017 • Edition: 2017 • USC-WR-1710.0383
Space Ambient, New Age, Electro

The Moon and the Sun. The Sun and The Moon. Two luminaries. Two hearts. Two legends originating from the birth of the Universe. They are the ones that jealous stars whisper about, looking around fearfully in the night sky. Silent witnesses of our life journeys, the Sun and the Moon! Countless myths and legends are written about them. In the moments of mysterious eclipses frightening with their unpredictability people stared at the sky with sacred awe and raised their arms as if they tried to implore forgiveness of heaven. The Moon and the Sun. You bestowed light and warmth to our far ancestors. Centuries will pass, whole millennia will sink into oblivion, but still you will look at our descendants. Bless them! Be merciful to them!.. Having left earth, the hopes of days Still keep their beauty evergreen. The heights of feelings lost in silence Sometimes awake those memories. How far divided we are now By endless roads of destiny And by remembrance of the lightest years Between the light of the Sun and the gray Moon. There still remains a hidden corner, Where at the sunset of the brightest lines A unique land has got its shape.

Vortex Mechanic - Wired Plus

Record: 2017 • Edition: 2017 • USC-WR-1711.0387
Berlin School, Ambient

«I love this place. Here, there is a unique atmosphere at any season. On that chilly summer evening when I came here with my friend Alexey, the air was especially thick and filled with bittersweet wettish freshness. Here, you fall into a special state, sitting on the recently scythed grass and looking down from the hill at power lines stretching away. It is here where several little worlds come together: a forest to the left and the right, a tiny village living its hasteless life under the hill, and the slight noise of a bustling city coming from far behind. And above, the steel giants of power line towers soaring against the darkening summer sky, which soon will be cut across by the Perseids. It is here where you take a rest from the hustle, and music itself fills your mind to later find its material form.»

Vortex Mechanic - Wired

Record: 2017 • Edition: 2017 • USC-WR-1709.0376
Berlin School, Ambient

«It was during a walk with my friend Nickolay. Despite the fact that it was summer, the weather was really autumnal, gloomy. We were going along the route – the forest belt, and then, in an instant, the forest went apart, and we found ourselves at the place, where the giants had been living. Steel silent idols were in fact the power line towers. A light twilight; the magnificence of the giants, who stood with their legs wide apart and arms outstretched aside to hold power lines firmly. With their heads they propped up the sky, as if emphasizing their greatness and significance. Are they lonely and silent? Not at all! They are talking to each other: slowly, in a low voice. They are wired!»

Sirius Radiance - Silent Spaces

Record: 2013 • Edition: 2013 • USC-WR-1309.0177
Space

In the wake of tramp-Voyager, on the narrow pathway of stardust, upon the steps of brave explorer and pioneer we rush into depths of other spaces. Charming by its majesty, expanse widens in front of us: the ocean of silence and calm, eternity of countless light years of flight. Stars - rare violators of the gravitational quiet - flash sometimes on observation screen, separated by days and months of traveling. Infinity swirls by nebulae and currents of radiation hides in time folds, appears sometimes among the people and disappears immediately. Wondering about nature of temporal matters, we realize suddenly that we are sowing Eternity here and now, right from the board of spaceship, time and again rushing after the shadow of fellow Voyager 2 into depths of the unknown, twinkling mysteriously straight ahead, stunningly near and inconceivably far.

There are some corners on Earth, which enchant not with multiplicity of life, but with trembling scales of lifelessness and devastation. Giant wilderness of crackled dried soil. Vast distances, that keep no trail of life. Incredible force made all living to leave this area, and plants died away without ability to avoid their destiny. Tremendous winds and continuous rains left only wasted clay surface coloured with baryte.

Sirius Radiance - Keys to Infinity

Record: 2013 • Edition: 2013 • USC-WR-1308.0169

It all started with the cold light of stars. They glanced into illuminators, creating reflections on the control panel, running reflections inside the floating motionless in the silence ship. Surrounded by alien luminaries for a billion parsecs from home, you dwell in the intergalactic quietness and charm of spread before the consciousness abyss. How could the Universe sound? How to hear it? Exemption from impenetrable protective shell and a spacewalk should bring to the knowledge of pure creation, removing all technological barriers. Along with timeless knowledge wash over memories of childhood, when the rings of Saturn illuminated tiny cradle, lulling muted glow and a leisurely rotation. Reminiscences the long deserted old research station, where experience has been acquired, where lingering journey to unknown has begun: path through time and space, pursuit of elusive answers to ageless questions - the keys to infinity.

Record: 2012 • Edition: 2013 • USC-WR-1304.0160

Memories are the thing very fragile by their nature. They are individual and exist only in the scopes of ones mind. Remembrances riven into pieces and lacklustered by passed ages may become rather misleading, embellished by healing time. Anything happens making the life variegated mozaic of color-form multitude. Some of these pieces find the connection, assimilate with each other into something new making the unique pattern of self-consciousness.

Eispollaetidespota is a word that means very special musical vision and creative labor that connected musicians of this project. Soundscapes and thoughts that appeal to the themes of human, emotions, spirit, nature and technology. An attempt to find harmony inside oneself and reconcile to the world. This is difficult and often gives rise to a momentary rapture and then anxiety. Naive melodies help to be alone. Reckon on the small house at the coast that keeps the hearth, cosiness and comfort. On the outside is the open unexplored wilderness. Simple landscapes of the near North that could be understood just by watching intently. Redundant words are everywhere, conceal the internal meaning of the music, escaping from any tokens.
