WMRI - New Axis of Turning

Record: 2012 • Edition: 2013 • USC-WR-1312.0200
Traditional Electronic, Berlin School, Experimental

We are used to perceive the world as we see and feel it. This is called reality, at least for most. But the search for new territories of perception never ends. What if there's another reality that we can't sense, because of our limited perception of the Universe? Another dimensions that exist in parallel to ours, superimpose each other like the layers of a multilayer cake. It is quite possible that they are out of reach, and we can only guess that they occur, at best feel some illusive emanation of other world. Who knows...

mutmut - Utter

Record: 2001 • Edition: 2012 • USC-WR-1211.0122
Lowercase, Experimental

Music for individuals, who believe in ordinary of post-modern conceptions of language and also in transformer vault's mystic essence. The collage of separate diverse scenes presented as stills of possible tragic or weird events. Made in a tradition of early electronic music, it shows the dull pictures of polar station, maybe abandoned and partially deenergized, odd labs with obscure aggregation, containers with viscous liquids. In general, all that we have a great opportunity to watch in science fiction films.

Common Ratio - HD-Dreams

Record: 2012 • Edition: 2012 • USC-WR-1207.0068
Avantgarde, Noise, Experimental

Waiting for the opening of the subway. Phantasmagoria with electric swamp and its mechanical residents, neon forest and haze where it is so easy to get lost. A ball of urban weekdays. Pathos of the authorities and poverty in homes. Mass migration. Prostration. Arizona desert, dust in the eyes. Average European July in the eastern traditions of Zen. Indulging in free and unpredictable, but clever improvisations, the author creates a gallery of abstract shapes, as elusive and ethereal as dreams.

WMRI - Drifting in Silence

Record: 2009 • Edition: 2012 • USC-WR-1204.0046
Space, Minimal

The sixth and the last EP in Black Concept Series. One long slowly evolving piece with main theme repeating from the beginning to an end surrounded with little synth movements. The final piece of series is smooth, silent and feels like universal slumber at the end of an aeon. The track is recorded at one go and totally improvised.

WMRI - Emission Spectrum

Record: 2009 • Edition: 2012 • USC-WR-1204.0043
Ambient, Space, Experimental

The third EP in Black Concept Series of six. First and second parts are very experimental ambient current, rather strange and anxious. Pulsing low sounds and morphing high tunes create images of cosmic radiations. Finally they smoothly flow into the third part Warping Cells which is a clear synth track with noise washes and general melancholic atmosphere. Food for those who like an experimental touch in ambient music.

WMRI - Spiral Void

Record: 2009 • Edition: 2012 • USC-WR-1204.0042
Dark Ambient, Drone Ambient

The second EP in Black Concept Series of six. Experimental and repetitive ambient, dark in nature and gradually evolving. Slow maelstrom of cyclic drones pierced by thin threads of ghostly synth sounds pulls you into minimalistic atmosphere of an inescapable cold void spiraling deeper from nothing to nothing.

sokpb avabodha - Реквием по аналоговому сигналу (Requiem for an Analogue Signal)

Record: 2009 • Edition: 2012 • USC-WR-1203.0030
Experimental, Dark Ambient, Noise

Improvisation recorded in real time with no further processing. Very experimental record researching the stages of signal processing, moving from noise to dark drones. These soundscapes are getting more mysterious as the processing goes. The last part of the title composition gets completely twisted with effects featuring the harrowing screams of some abstract creatures.
