Stark's Pond - Life Track

Record: 2018 • Edition: 2018 • USC-WR-1809.0411
Indietronica

Life may appear quite predictable and predetermined, if you do not translate it into variable values. And then it will be an inexhaustible source of high-profile events, useful knowledge, fateful meetings, incredible adventures, unexpected turns and important lessons. The average man goes through many stages on his life track, and the experience that he accumulates during this time serves as his guiding star in the ocean of uncertainty. Always keep healthy optimism, and then the joyful feelings experienced in moments of delight will help to survive the difficult stages of emotional decline. Do not allow chance to break your positive attitude! Look at any situation from a creative point of view, because modern opportunities are incomparably wider than ever, and are often limited only by our wit and imagination. Your contagious energy will be transferred to everyone around, if you yourself believe in your strength! And then you will be that guiding star for your comrades, and maybe even grateful descendants.

Derek Nigell - Heartbeat of the Universe

Record: 2017 • Edition: 2017 • USC-WR-1710.0380
Space Ambient, Berlin School, Electro

Cosmos – calling, mysterious, endless and magnificent... If only we could plunge into this boundless ocean of stars twinkling mystically as if they watch us from the night sky! To learn who weaves a cobweb of constellations, which helped sailors to navigate since ancient times. To dance a flying roundelay of planets in curves of Milky Way to the music of the Universe... A secret – inconceivable, enticing and fascinating! Can you hear? This is the call of distant strange worlds! Can you see? There is that star! It feels like it is sending us some message! What does it want to say? A secret... A secret... A secret... Oh how much we want to learn, to comprehend, to touch! To become a particle – a star dust particle... Where are you, the Little Prince? How's your Rose? How's the Fox? Are you happy? Answer, please! Silence... I'm here. I'm standing on the ground. I'm inhaling autumn gold. And the maple in the yard is waving to me with his last leaves-hands. Soon his applause shall fade... But, Universe! I'm still here and I hear you! I'm hearing the beat of your heart...

Movement is essential for life. When you look around, you see the dynamic processes everywhere: so it was, so it is, so it will be. But when the objects stop and rest, they are likely fall out of a running stream and become nonexistent for those, who are moving. They are in their own system of interaction, concentrated on the inner evolution. There are two states of nonexistence: before and after stir - two seeming existences, because still objects are real for each other, while different by intentions. This seeming reality is called nonexistence of existence.

The Superclose Cosmos is a dummy, handmade planetarium in a tiny room, naive simulation, just like special effects of the Soviet tapes about conquest of the Universe. Parade of the paper stars hanging on invisible threads, plates with names of constellations; blue-eyed girls in the flight suits dancing under control of feelers of an intergalactic octopus; the Siberian shamans singing of phosphoric stars on wallpaper; rhythms of engine rooms of "Pegasus" recreated by the drum machine; figurine of wise Buddha laughing over this space samsara.

Common Ratio - No

Record: 2012 • Edition: 2012 • USC-WR-1204.0039
No Wave, Noise Rock, Indie Rock, IDM

In the 70s in New York an avant-garde and independent cultural trend of No Wave appeared. It was some kind of a response to New Wave that was popular in that time. Inspired by those guys with their radical views on art, the author attempts to create a local reincarnation of No Wave in contemporary electronic music. This is primarily a revolt, not a familiar pure art aimed at the creation of beauty. It is pretty loud and aggressive music, impregnated with the spirit of freedom.

Common Ratio - Clubbing Outside

Record: 2011 • Edition: 2012 • USC-WR-1201.0013
IDM, Dubstep, Experimental

Nuclear mix of all genres and styles that influenced Common Ratio sound is used here as a refund for all taken moves and ideas. Tracks go one after another drawing the somber urban sketches of gray American life. And then our look rises to the height from the dirty street. Flocculent clouds are flowing in dull sky. Occasional birds appear from every quarter and dive into the muddy stratosphere soup making steep turns. They see the beauty of precise architecture from such an altitude and we are morally with them - this is magnificent!
