Sergey Kolesnikov - Signature

Record: 2010-2011 • Edition: 2018 • USC-WR-1506.0268
Berlin School, Ambient

Epochs shift epochs. New structures are formed under the tips of the fingers. The stream of thoughts flows freely, and ideas are born as if by themselves. You create worlds with one pass of a hand, before which you prostrate yourself subsequently. And then a stunning music breaks out from under your rough hands, over which you have no power. It rushes to where time and space merge into a single whole. Its motif, changing imperceptibly, carries you into the ocean of sound. The steps of the sequences alternate, responding to the aspirations of the soul of an invisible genius nurtured by the experience of generations. And in all this – the integrity of a majestic music! Perhaps this is how happiness sings, and delight fills the cup of appeasement? What can be more beautiful than the contemplation of how the creator creates his creation, and creation creates its creator? No thoughts, no words... There is only a dissolution of consciousness in the music, on which the time itself left its imprint.

Lost-Radio - Remember

Record: 2012-2013 • Edition: 2014 • USC-WR-1412.0237
Drone Ambient

Story? It's difficult to say... Herein something purely personal is enclosed. Dense concentrate convolved to the minimum volume: hence the complexity of the penetration into it though seeming plain, inside - depth. Echoes of remembrances are implicitly soaring in the surrounding space, becoming iteratively enhanced by the memory. That was and did imprint itself in mind, but the time ruthlessly destroys images, often washing away the circumstances and details, leaving only hints. There's an own charm - the basis for an embellished reality, full of just bright events, covering with an avalanche of bustle. Touching the thin veil, separating reality and reveries, intangible, enveloping consciousness on the verge of perception. And behind it - the heavy fog of oblivion, secret desires and lost dreams.

Lost-Radio - Between

Record: 2013-2014 • Edition: 2014 • USC-WR-1410.0227
Drone Ambient

This album is about a feeling so strong that it makes one to forget the native distances and to wait in the wet grey alley for hours, despite of cold wind and drizzling rain. To wait for what? And then the memories arise. About the yore. About this alley, about these eyes. There comes the sensation of presence... The presence of the one about whom you reminisce. Though this is just seeming presence. But is the seeming true? In the end it becomes clear that there are no innocents in this world. Every deed has a range of consequences, going far into the future. Seemingly every innocent gesture, every innocent sight drags a certain chain of events after themselves. All we are guilty in something. There are no innocents.

Lost-Radio - Collected Memories

Record: 2010-2012 • Edition: 2013 • USC-WR-1311.0181
Drone Ambient

The will of photographer who has imprinted moments of life creates a kaleidoscope of the past. Opening a photo album, you get captured by the whirl of remembrances. Pictures of long time gone days become alive in front of your eyes, unfamiliar people and places are alluring into their tiny worlds. Some of snapshots are quite fuzzy and contain only common details giving freedom to fantasy, others stun with depth and emotional fullness. But this mosaic is far from being intact, therefore it keeps mysteries, covered with dust of time.

WMRI - Sound Archives 2003-2006

Record: 2003-2006 • Edition: 2012 • USC-WR-1201.0001
Traditional Electronic, Ambient, Space, Synthpop

This box collects all of the earlier full-length releases of WMRI, some of which are published for first time on the web. Moreover, all included materials are original masters as they were first meant to be, even the original track titles were saved. These versions aren't considered authentic, but either historic or relic. The reference versions are four of these albums that were remastered and expanded in 2008 and released under the title First Wave. All these materials are going to be remastered soon or late, but for now this fills the holes in your WMRI collection.
