WMRI - Quiescent Whispers

Record: 2010-2011 • Edition: 2012 • USC-WR-1209.0098
Ambient, Symphonic, Experimental

The album was recorded in different times between 2010 and 2011. It is rather specific because each composition contains some individual conception, which is not always been close to the melody, more to the technical aspects of realization. Moreover these works were recorded separately from the major albums and the releases at all, as that time - the end of 2010 and the beginning of 2011 - was quite poor in editions for different reasons. So promise of a pleasant listening would be absurd: take care at sharp corners - conceptually!

  1. Track 4, Moving the Dark Mass, reminds me of the Virgin years of Tangerine Dreams. I quite like this one!

I was very excited by "Gliss-Glass" which made me think of some of the stunning new-age music of the past . . . This album's lengthy pieces quietly told vibrantly beautiful auditory stories . . . filling my being with a quiescence . . . . . a lovely peace . . . a quiet that spread like an ink stain across the white surface of a bleached clothe on an endless table . .. it spread with the glowing colors of the rainbow . . enigmatic and beautiful . . . mystical . . it grew with the endless patterns of golden numbers . . . like a fractal .. .. repeating a cool beauty that slid down my spine like the cold steel of subtle strength . . like the depth of eternal space imprinted on the depth of an endless sea . . . a beauty . . .
