Tenth Cloud - Edge of Summer

Record: 2016-2018 • Edition: 2018 • USC-WR-1804.0406
Techno, Chillout, Traditional Electronic

It always ends. It always ends the same. Sometimes a couple of days earlier, sometimes a couple of days later, but always with rains and cold winds. I understand I have lived this little life and hungrily swallow these remains of happiness. I am siting here – on the very edge, on the edge of summer and dream of one thing only: to quickly start it over once again. Once again – from the beginning. And what then? And then it will be like it always is. Like always, I will be waiting for summer!

Vortex Mechanic - Questions to Eternity

Record: 2016-2017 • Edition: 2018 • USC-WR-1705.0360
Space Ambient, Noise Ambient

Whole life consists of questions. We begin to ask them when we realize ourselves as a person, and continue until we dissolve into nothingness. On the path of life we are accompanied by a variety of doubts and fears – they hide deep inside, even if we do not notice it. Once alone in the face of Eternity, we encounter our own existential fears. Our mind has protective mechanisms that defend us. But even they can fall under the pressure of circumstances, breaking the worldview, leading to uncertainty, indifference and loss of faith in everything, giving rise to doubt in the meaningfulness of life without a higher destiny. Religion was once an effective answer to all questions. Faith in a just God who will never leave us alone, saved us from the pain of reason, giving the will to existence. However, reality poses more and more questions, on which religions are not able to give adequate answers. Humanity was exposed defenseless to the soulless eyes of Eternity. And it has to find what question to ask.

Visionary Worlds - Feelings

Record: 2015 • Edition: 2015 • USC-WR-1511.0290
Progressive Trance, Uplifting Trance

What is filling us, inspiring and making alive? What does the inner world of man hide – is it heaven or hell? A lot of things are woven into it: collected knowledge, experienced feelings, a burden of memories. Which of them to keep, and which to get rid of forever? Consciously and unconsciously, we create our own world: quiet harbors and noisy squares, bright lights of glass cases and shades of courtyards – a spectacular attraction of ups and downs, a session at the cinema of destiny, which projector emits the light diffusing the shackles of darkness. Through the filters of our feelings and delusions, the image gets placed upon the outside world, and we watch our dramas and comedies, occasionally forgetting that the source of light is inside us…

Vortex Mechanic - Wired Plus

Record: 2017 • Edition: 2017 • USC-WR-1711.0387
Berlin School, Ambient

«I love this place. Here, there is a unique atmosphere at any season. On that chilly summer evening when I came here with my friend Alexey, the air was especially thick and filled with bittersweet wettish freshness. Here, you fall into a special state, sitting on the recently scythed grass and looking down from the hill at power lines stretching away. It is here where several little worlds come together: a forest to the left and the right, a tiny village living its hasteless life under the hill, and the slight noise of a bustling city coming from far behind. And above, the steel giants of power line towers soaring against the darkening summer sky, which soon will be cut across by the Perseids. It is here where you take a rest from the hustle, and music itself fills your mind to later find its material form.»

Vortex Mechanic - Wired

Record: 2017 • Edition: 2017 • USC-WR-1709.0376
Berlin School, Ambient

«It was during a walk with my friend Nickolay. Despite the fact that it was summer, the weather was really autumnal, gloomy. We were going along the route – the forest belt, and then, in an instant, the forest went apart, and we found ourselves at the place, where the giants had been living. Steel silent idols were in fact the power line towers. A light twilight; the magnificence of the giants, who stood with their legs wide apart and arms outstretched aside to hold power lines firmly. With their heads they propped up the sky, as if emphasizing their greatness and significance. Are they lonely and silent? Not at all! They are talking to each other: slowly, in a low voice. They are wired!»

All these materials are going to be remastered soon or late, but for now this fills the holes in your WMRI collection.
